SUMMARY:Rome International Art Fair 2024 - Roma - 24 Maggio 24 10:00
DESCRIPTION:ITSLIQUID Group is pleased to announce the opening of the 10th
edition of ROME INTERNATIONAL ART FAIR 2024\, international exhibition of
 photography\, painting\, video art\, installation/sculpture and performanc
e art\, on May 24\, 2024\, at 06:00 PM at Medina Art Gallery\, in Rome. Th
e exhibition will run until June 6\, 2024.\n\nROME INTERNATIONAL ART FAIR
2024 analyzes the relationship between body and space\, and the hybridizat
ion between identities and cultural/physical/social/urban settings in cont
emporary times\, through two main sections: MIXING IDENTITIES and FUTURE L
ANDSCAPES.\n\nMIXING IDENTITIES analyzes the hidden parts of our identitie
s\, through an immersive experience inside the fascinating universe of the
complex labyrinths of our consciousness. The human body is a changing sys
tem that connects us with other bodies and spaces to perceive the surround
ing reality\; a strong communication system with its own language and infi
nite ways of expression.\n\nFUTURE LANDSCAPES are abstract\, infinite and
conceptual\, associated with a sense of freedom and infinite extension. Pr
imarily experienced with the mind\, spaces redefine their limits and borde
rs\, transforming surfaces in an open flow of pure ideas. This section foc
uses on the concept of the borders and the structures between body\, mind
and soul\, the human identity and the city\, the space and the ground.\n\n
Inviting viewers to embrace their fluidity\, Marina Budimir explores the t
heme of MIXING IDENTITIES\, celebrating the diversity of human expression.
The artist showcases her journey from the historic city of Zagreb to the
broad canvas of wearable art and delicate fabric paintings: through her ar
tworks\, she captures the vibrant interplay of colors as a celebration of
life\, transcending the traditional and merging different tools. Employing
the same creative poetry of blending instruments\, Maria Gedroc invites v
iewers into her “Giardino Fiorito” through mixed media artworks\, exam
ining the themes of personal space and spirituality\, often manifested thr
ough architectural and natural elements.\n\nYuting Chen conveys the theme
of MIXING IDENTITIES by using programming languages to transform data into
dynamic visual representations that delve into human emotions and philoso
phical reflections\, exploring the resilience of migrant journeys and the
interplay of language and perception. Hailing from Switzerland\, the photo
grapher Giuseppe Giannotti utilizes his background in journalism to captur
e these narratives through his images\, which serve as a deep dive into th
e stories of his subjects\, conveyed with a compelling narrative style tha
t highlights his investigative roots.\n\nWorking with the same tool but wi
th different results\, photographers Preeti &amp\; Prashant Chacko explore
the theme of FUTURE LANDSCAPES with their focus on the dignity and grace
of wild animals through black and white photography. Their distinct perspe
ctives frame the emotional depth of wildlife\, capturing moments of beauty
and drama that speak to both individual and shared experiences with natur
 e. The core of this theme lies in its focus on the boundaries between vari
ous dichotomies: body and mind\, soul and identity\, urbanity and nature\,
as shown by the artist Alice Vanni. She incorporates unpublished poems wi
thin her paintings\, subtly hidden within the brushstrokes: her work refle
cts a profound connection to culture\, travel\, sustainability\, and natur
e.\n\nThrough visionary explorations\, artists find a way to work on the c
usp of these two themes: among them\, Julia Szeder transitions\, employing
the impasto technique with paint knives to introduce abstract elements in
to her works\, inviting viewers to explore both grand vistas and intricate
details. Another brilliant contribution was provided by the video artwork
of Hu Chia who blends the ancient Monkey-Crane Double Form Chuan Qigong w
ith modern dance\, expressing the resilience and vulnerability of life. Hi
 s works\, as a dance against fate\, pursue love and freedom\, showcasing t
hem through performances that have touched audiences across over twenty co
untries. ROME INTERNATIONAL ART FAIR 2024 will be enriched by a great sele
ction of video artworks (see https://drive.google.com/file/d/1L3jphDAAYxGx
